Account deletion
You can delete your Aku account and the data associated with it at any time, in two ways.
From the app (recommended)
- Open Aku
- Go to Settings → Privacy and data
- Tap Delete my account
- Confirm when prompted
By email
Alternatively, write to privacy@aku-app.com from the address associated with your account, requesting deletion. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
What gets deleted
On deletion, all data relating to your health and your profile is erased. By legal obligation, only tax and accounting data related to purchases is retained. You'll find the details in our Privacy Policy. We act within 30 days of your request.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription: if you have an active subscription, cancel it separately from your Apple or Google account settings.
